We are very proud to invite you to the 12th Congress of the European Federation
for Research in Rehabilitation (EFRR), to be held in Istanbul, between 11-14 September
2013.The chance to combine leading world experts in Rehabilitation area with the unique art treasures and the Bosphorus atmosphere of Istanbul represent a valuable opportunity to promote the scientific quality and to allow people coming from different countries to meet and share opinions.
The program consists of workshops, courses, open communications and oral/poster presentations.
Within the borders of Istanbul first established residential areas were Kalkedon in Anatolian side and Byzantion in European side. Several different bodies had ruled Istanbul throughout the history. This process; beginning with the Greek city-states and continuing with Roman, Byzantine, Latin and Ottoman empires lasted with the management of the provincial territory of Istanbul by Republic of Turkey. Istanbul is an ancient city, you can see the remains of many civilizations and their culture in harmony with Turkish culture. The city is full of contrasts, and colourful views, the diverse ethnicity of the city, is another point which is worth examinig. We are looking forward to meet you in Istanbul where science, history and natural beauties are combined.
